PhD/Postdoctoral positions are available in the groups of Julio Saez-Rodriguez, Andreas Schuppert and Marc Brehme. Our research spans the areas of pharmacogenomics, analysis of signal transduction networks, and systems pharmacology, with a focus on applications in oncology. Candidates interested in working at the interface of computational science, biomedicine and pharmacology are encouraged to apply.
You are expected to hold a degree in statistics, mathematics, physics, engineering or computer science. Previous experience with biological data is beneficial. A degree in biological science with substantial experience in computational and statistical work is also possible. You should feel comfortable interacting with others in an interdisciplinary setting, since research will run in close collaboration with other groups.
There is no strict deadline, but priority will be given to applications received by July 1st 2015. Starting date is also relatively flexible.
